While the Los Angeles had become the first to earn a playoff berth earlier on game day, the Seahawks secured their place to the play-offs after a two-year absence.
With this result, the Seahawks have taken over their Conference race with a 12-3 record, replacing the Rams, who fell to the fifth seed with an 11-4 record.

Quarterback Sam Darnold threw two interceptions but recovered to make two scoring throws, including the tying TD to star receiver Smith-Njigba in overtime.
The Rams held a six-point lead at half-time before Walker broke free for a 55-yard scoring dash for the home side.
Rams cornerback Josh Wallace then returned Darnold's first interception for a big return, setting up a one-yard touchdown by Corum on the ensuing snap.
